Las Vegas Based Gillmann Group Brings Island New Gaming Experience

LAS VEGAS, October 26, 2006… The Gillmann Group, the Las Vegas-based casino development company well known for its development and consultation work for Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, NM, opened its newest gaming and entertainment destination, the Key Largo Casino, Restaurant and Bar, September 22 in Oranjestad, Aruba, on the site of the former Royal Cabana Casino.

The Key Largo is open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. and offers live entertainment nightly and lunch and dinner until 4 a.m. in its Blue Marlin Bar & Restaurant.

Tourists and locals play $.01, $.05 and $1.00 slots from its over 100-machine selection, and the casino offers seven table games including Black Jack, Roulettte, Texas Hold’em, Caribbean Stud, and Three Card Poker.

“We have developed this unique concept and brand to bring something new to the island and have intentions to take it to other locations worldwide,” said Fred Gillmann, president of The Gillmann Group.

The Blue Marlin offers an “affordable” menu of tropical cuisine with entrees like “Hemingway’s Grouper Sandwich,” “Tortola Mahi-Mahi Tacos.” “Key Largo Voodoo Wings” and “Lord Boxoes Filet Mignon.”  In addition to the food service, the Blue Marlin also offers Happy Hour bar prices all day.

“Our slogan is ‘One Happy Casino,’ and guests will enjoy a comfortable, laid-back experience with an extensive selection of premium spirits, a complete drink menu and amenities like our state-of-the art sound system and flat panel televisions for enjoying sporting events,” Gillmann said.
